ITINERARY:

DAY 1: THURSDAY 21ST JUNE – UK/CAPE TOWN

Arrive at your chosen Airport three hours prior to departure where you will check in for your international flight.
 

DAY 2: FRIDAY 22ND JUNE – CAPE TOWN

Upon arrival into Cape Town you will be met by a LWTL tour manager and transferred into the city to your chosen hotel for a 5 night stay on a B&B basis. This evening, enjoy welcome drinks with your tour host and fellow tourists.
 

DAY 3: SATURDAY 23RD JUNE – 2ND TEST MATCH, CAPE TOWN

MATCH DAY!
SOUTH AFRICA v ENGLAND
After a leisurely morning you will be transferred to the selected venue for a pre-match lunch and Q&A Session. After lunch you will be transferred to Newlands Rugby Stadium. Post match you will be transferred back to your hotel.
 

DAY 4: SUNDAY 24TH JUNE – CAPE TOWN

Day at leisure in Cape Town. Visit Robben Island, go up Table Mountain or join us for the Cape Winelands Tour (not included).
 

DAY 5: MONDAY 25TH JUNE – CAPE TOWN

Day at leisure in Cape Town.
 

DAY 6: TUESDAY 26TH JUNE – CAPE TOWN

Final day at leisure in Cape Town.
 

DAY 7: WEDNESDAY 27TH JUNE – CAPE TOWN to UK

After checking out of your hotel you will be transferred to Cape Town Airport for your return flight to the UK.
 

DAY 8: THURSDAY 28TH JUNE 2018 – UK

Arrive back in the UK. Complete passport control, collect your luggage and continue with your onward travel.

CITY LODGE V&A WATERFRONT (5 nights from 22nd June 2018)

City Lodge Hotel Victoria and Alfred Waterfront is located right at the entrance to the V&A Waterfront – allowing guests to not only easily enjoy this great Cape Town attraction, but also take advantage of V&A Waterfront’s ideal location near local highlights. A nautical theme runs through the hotel and a spa-pool and sundowner bar are available for guests to relax in the warm Cape weather.

THE COMMODORE HOTEL V&A WATERFRONT (UPGRADE HOTEL – 5 nights from 22nd June 2018)

With panoramic views of Table Bay and Table Mountain, The Commodore is decorated in a nautical theme. It features an outdoor swimming pool and sauna, fitness and massage facilities. The Commodore’s air-conditioned rooms include free Wi-Fi, satellite TV and a private bathroom with bathtub. There is 24-hour room service and a 24-hour reception. Some rooms have a balcony providing views of the Atlantic or Table Mountain. The business centre offers complimentary internet access. Guests can enjoy a work-out in the gym or book a relaxing massage in the spa. When weather is nice, the partly shaded terrace offers a relaxing setting for a drink or snack. Apart from a breakfast buffet, Clipper Restaurant serves an à la carte menu featuring seafood dishes and regional wines. The Admiralty Bar and Lounge provides a 24-hour cocktail menu. The Commodore Hotel is situated adjacent to the V&A Waterfront, a 10-minute walk from Cape Town Stadium.

Just a Big Thank You to all Living with the Lions Staff in organising the Tour to Australia. Had an Amazing Time – The Organisation and Attention to Detail was first class. Many many thanks for a fantastic holiday. Everything was so well organised I really cannot speak highly enough of the quality of the tour and the hard work put in by both the Living with the Lions guys and all the volunteers. Mike, Andy, Fleur and Lucy on our tour were simply brilliant. Looking after so many people all doing their own things was not an easy task although you guys made it seem effortless – the hard work behind the scenes made everything go like clockwork. The final Saturday was a day to remember. The general talk was – “well how good was that”. Not just the result but the whole day, simply brilliant. Rob and Bentos were both fantastic as well working so hard to talk with everyone to make everyone’s holiday something special. Once again a big thank you to all and hope to see you all again in four years!!

I have travelled with several sports companies before and this was definitely the best experience, particularly in terms of the pre-match entertainment.
