Living With The Lions Sports Travel
The British & Irish Lions tour to New Zealand is over. The series was tied. There are too many highlights to go through but favourites are surely one of the great tries in British & Irish Lions history; the hard-fought series leveller in Wellington and then that 1st half of the final test, which perhaps rank as one of the best halves of rugby ever played. And that was just on the pitch. Off the pitch there was the superb Kiwi hospitality, the amazing landscapes of the Southern Alps, the gala dinner in Queenstown and of course the friends made and the memories that will last forever.

I just wanted to thank you and your team for helping to make our first Lions tour such a fantastic and amazingly enjoyable trip. It was well beyond our expectations and we have such great memories of so much! The rugby, the country the people , the camaraderie and the “hwyl/craic” were just immense. I especially wanted to thank you and the LWTL team particularly Liam ,Brett, Colin, Ellie and Paddy and also Boss Patrick for all the invaluable help they gave us whenever required. Sadly we only met Lorri briefly and wanted to thank her for all the flight arrangements and also for organising our Fiji holiday in what was an excellent quality resort and a brilliant place to relax and unwind in some heat! We also had the good fortune of just bumping into Mako Vunipola and Toby Faletau and in the Hard Rock Cafe in the resort for a fantastic photograph opportunity! Thoroughly enjoyed and sincerely appreciate all the time effort and hassle that goes into organising such a comprehensive schedule. Please pass on our thanks and appreciation to all. I hope you have all settled back into things, quite a come down I know from an epic Lions tour. Just wanted to say a Big Thank You to you all at LWTL for organising a great tour. It can’t have been easy trying to keep everyone happy but you did this fantastically. Your attention to detail, good humour, care and support really were appreciated. Please could you pass on my thanks to my Tour leader Paddy, he was brilliant. Smart, organised, considerate and good fun too. Owen likewise. Hope to see them again on future tours. Travelling on my own … yourselves and Paddy in particular got the balance right in ensuring I was included into things yet with the freedom to do my own thing. Rob Jones was an absolute gent, no ego, great stories and always had time for you. Legend and Patrick too, great staff in what is a great company. Trip of a lifetime … although, I hope to see you all again in 2019 for the World Cup!

Many Thanks for a wonderful time in New Zealand. We enjoyed every minute of the trip from the rugby (obviously) to the travelling around, different cities and the craic! I would also like to thank you for the really special second leg you organised for us. Malaysia was AMAZING. The accommodation, the setting, the food, the diving and the weather. It just finished off the holiday perfectly. (I have attached a couple of photos!). So now we are on our way back from Kuala Lumpur, due to arrive in Heathrow in an hour so it will be all go!. I just wanted to make sure that you were all thanked and know just how amazing you all made our holiday. Can you pass a special thanks onto Mark please? As our Rima Red Leader he was exceptional. I have recently returned from Australia after experiencing your companies services for the 2nd time (SA previously). Just a few words to compliment you, your staff and in particular our tour leader (endeavour 1V Red) Mike Pyrgos, Robert Jones and John Bentley on their professionalism, attention to detail and sheer commitment to ensuring our enjoyment. Mike and Rob helped me out with a particular problem and I will be forever grateful! Your staff in general were kind and considerate and again I thank them. Many many thanks for a fantastic holiday. Everything was so well organised I really cannot speak highly enough of the quality of the tour and the hard work put in by both the Living with the Lions guys and all the volunteers. Mike, Andy, Fleur and Lucy on our tour were simply brilliant. Looking after so many people all doing their own things was not an easy task although you guys made it seem effortless – the hard work behind the scenes made everything go like clockwork. The final Saturday was a day to remember. The general talk was – “well how good was that”. Not just the result but the whole day, simply brilliant. Rob and Bentos were both fantastic as well working so hard to talk with everyone to make everyone’s holiday something special. Once again a big thank you to all and hope to see you all again in four years!!
