AUCKLAND – HEARTLAND HOTEL, 3* (3 nights from 22nd June)
Heartland Hotel Auckland Airport offers a free 24-hour airport shuttle service and air-conditioned rooms. Facilities include an outdoor swimming pool with spa pool. Heartland Hotel is located in the Airpark Business Centre, 5 minutes’ drive from Auckland Airport and Butterfly Creek. Auckland city centre is a 25-minute drive away.
All rooms contain a refrigerator and tea/coffee making facilities. The private bathrooms include free toiletries and a hairdryer. Some rooms also have a kitchenette. The Lobby Bar serves a range of refreshing drinks and light meals. Alternatively, there are a number of restaurants and cafés within a 5-minute drive. The Princes Gate is a historical, boutique-style hotel in the centre of Rotorua. This classical 4.5-star hotel is opposite the Polynesian Spa and the famous Government Gardens. The hotel has 50 stylish guestrooms and apartments, all decorated in a traditional and classical style. Each room is beautifully furnished with luxurious en suite bathroom and a range of personal toiletries. The larger apartments offer a living area and kitchen facilities. The Princes Gate Hotel, dates back to 1897 and is situated in the historical area of the city. The hotel is only 100 m from the lakefront and city centre and is also within easy reach of the Convention Centre. Property offers three thermally heated pools, a private plunge pool and sauna. Guest laundry facilities are available. There are a restaurant and bar on-site offering breakfast, lunch and dinner. There are also live cabaret dinner shows.

Many many thanks for a fantastic holiday. Everything was so well organised I really cannot speak highly enough of the quality of the tour and the hard work put in by both the Living with the Lions guys and all the volunteers. Mike, Andy, Fleur and Lucy on our tour were simply brilliant. Looking after so many people all doing their own things was not an easy task although you guys made it seem effortless – the hard work behind the scenes made everything go like clockwork. The final Saturday was a day to remember. The general talk was – “well how good was that”. Not just the result but the whole day, simply brilliant. Rob and Bentos were both fantastic as well working so hard to talk with everyone to make everyone’s holiday something special. Once again a big thank you to all and hope to see you all again in four years!!
