ANTIGUA – HALCYON COVE BY REX RESORTS

Located on the shores of Dickenson Bay, this tropical resort hotel in St. John’s features romantic dining on the private Warri Pier. Free Wi-Fi and daily activities are also offered. A flat-screen TV and a coffee maker are found in each bright, colourful room of Halcyon Cove by Rex Resorts. Each room also features a private balcony or patio with beautiful views. Guests of Halcyon Cove can dine on the pier, at The Arawack Terrace or at the beachfront barbeque. A choice of 3 bars is open in the evening. Horseback riding, tennis and a variety of watersports are offered at the resort. On-site massage services and a beauty shop are also available. The St. John’s city centre is 9 minutes from the cove. The V C Bird International Airport is 13 minutes away.

BARBADOS – DISCOVERY BAY BY REX RESORTS

Located on Saint James Beach, this resort in Holetown features plantation-style rooms with a furnished balcony and an outdoor pool. Folkestone Marine Park and Museum is 400 m away. Smart casual dining near the pool is available at the Sugarbird Bar and Grill open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Garden Restaurant, also smart casual, is located inside Discovery Bay by Rex Resorts and serves international cuisine. In-room massages are offered. Guests can also play a game of tennis or visit the souvenir shop. Beige coloured air-conditioned rooms at Rex Resorts Discovery Bay include cable TV and a refrigerator. Coffee facilities are provided as well. Sir Frank Hutson Sugar Museum is 4 km away. Grantley Adams International Airport is 20 km south-east from the property.

BARBADOS – ALL SEASONS RESORT, EUROPA APARTMENTS

Located in Sunset Crest, this golf apartment is within a 15-minute walk of Sunset Crest Shopping Centre, Chattel Village, and Sandy Lane Beach. Holetown Monument and Lime Grove Shopping Centre are also within 1 mi (2 km).
A restaurant, an outdoor pool, and a fitness center are available at this apartment. Free WiFi in public areas, free self parking, and a free area shuttle are also provided. Other amenities include a bar/lounge, a poolside bar, and a meeting room. All 48 apartments feature kitchens with refrigerators and microwaves, plus patios and living rooms. Guests will also find cable TV, free local calls, and hair dryers.

Another memorable tour and we even manage to win a T20 game. Everything was fine and would like to thank Patrick for his attentiveness and help during the tour.

An absolute pleasure and, by chance, two great Test matches which will rank among the all-time classics. Durban’s Hilton Hotel was fabulous, Cape Town’s City Lodge served its purpose… transport and internal flights excellent thanks to LWTL! Evening meals in Durban (Moyo in Ushaka, Butcher Boys in Florida Road) and Cape Town (Quay Four on the Waterfront) were excellent, showing great local knowledge. So too the Christmas lunch in Ballito and New Year do at the Five Flies in Cape Town were brilliant too.
