PERTH, MELBOURNE & SYDNEY TEST TOUR (11th December – 10th January 2018)

DAY 1: MONDAY 11th DECEMBER 2017 – LONDON/PERTH

Ensure you get to London Heathrow Airport three hours prior to departure where you will meet a member of staff from Living With The Lions who will assist you with check in for your international flight.
 

DAY 2: TUESDAY 12th DECEMBER 2017 – IN FLIGHT

In transit to Australia.
 

DAY 3: WEDNESDAY 13th DECEMBER 2017 – PERTH

Upon arrival into Perth you will be met by a LWTL tour manager and transferred into the city to your chosen hotel for an 8 night stay on a room only basis. This evening enjoy welcome drinks with your tour hosts and fellow tourists.
 

DAY 4 – 8: THURSDAY 14th – MONDAY 18th DECEMBER 2017 – 3rd TEST MATCH, PERTH

3rd Test Match – Australia v England
Make your own way to the cricket (Stadium TBC) for the 3rd Test Match. At close of play make your own way back to your chosen hotel.
 

DAY 9 – 10: TUESDAY 19th – WEDNESDAY 20th DECEMBER 2017 – PERTH

The next two days are at leisure in Perth. Should you wish to see more of what Australia has to offer, we can arrange for a 3-6 night detour from the package to a destination of your choice. Please let us know if you are interested to add this to your tour.
 

DAY 11: THURSDAY 21st DECEMBER 2017 – PERTH/MELBOURNE

Check out of your hotel and transfer to Perth Airport for your flight to Melbourne. Upon arrival into Melbourne you will be transferred to your chosen hotel for a 10 night stay on a room only basis.
 

DAY 12 – 14: FRIDAY 22nd – SUNDAY 24th DECEMBER 2017 – MELBOURNE

The next three days are at leisure in Melbourne.
 

DAY 15: MONDAY 25th DECEMBER 2017 – MELBOURNE

Today celebrate Christmas Day with LWTL’s Christmas Party.
 

DAY 16 – 20: TUESDAY 26th – SATURDAY 30th DECEMBER 2017 – 4th TEST MATCH, MELBOURNE

4th Test Match – Australia v England
Make your own way to The Melbourne Cricket Ground for the 4th Test Match. At close of play make your own way back to your chosen hotel.
 

DAY 21: SUNDAY 31st DECEMBER 2017 – MELBOURNE/SYDNEY

An early start today. Check out of your hotel and transfer to Melbourne Airport for your flight to Sydney. Upon arrival into Sydney you will be transferred to your chosen hotel for a 9 night stay on a room only basis.
Join LWTL and celebrate New Year’s Eve or alternatively make your own arrangements to see in the new year.
 

DAY 22 – 24: MONDAY 01st – WEDNESDAY 03rd JANUARY 2018 – SYDNEY

The next three days are at leisure in Sydney.
 

DAY 25 – 29: THURSDAY 04th – MONDAY 08th JANUARY 2018 – 5th TEST MATCH, SYDNEY

5th Test Match – Australia v England
Make your own way to The Sydney Cricket Ground for the 5th Test Match. At close of play make your own way back to your chosen hotel.
 

DAY 30: TUESDAY 09th JANUARY 2018: SYDNEY/LONDON

After checking out of your hotel you will be transferred to Sydney Airport for your return flight to the UK.

DAY 31: WEDNESDAY 10th JANUARY 2018: LONDON

Arrive back in the UK. Complete passport control, collect your luggage and continue with your onward travel.

Just a note to say what a superb tour Brett Lingley hosted for Living With The Lions in Durban and Cape Town. An absolute pleasure and, by chance, two great Test matches which will rank among the all-time classics. Durban’s Hilton Hotel was fabulous, Cape Town’s City Lodge served its purpose… transport and internal flights excellent thanks to LWTL! Evening meals in Durban (Moyo in Ushaka, Butcher Boys in Florida Road) and Cape Town (Quay Four on the Waterfront) were excellent, showing great local knowledge. So too the Christmas lunch in Ballito and New Year do at the Five Flies in Cape Town were brilliant too. Please pass on my compliments and make sure everyone at Living With The Lions gives themselves a pat on the back. I’ll be back for the Ashes.”
